Ministry Of Thrift & Gift
The Out of Egypt Thrift and Gift (OETG) opened in August of 2012. This was not a ministry that the Fallon Church of the Nazarene ever planned on being a part of. Rather, it was brought into existence through God's people responding “Yes” to where He was leading them. The OETG has expanded to two different locations, Our second location now as a Boutique/Gift store. In addition to it's purpose of bringing in funds for the Out of Egypt Food Pantry, the OETG provides an amazing platform for ministry & sharing the gospel with people from many walks of life.
The OETG begins each day with The Word & prayer. They pray over the stores & all who will enter it on any given day. Some of these employees have incredible backstories of how God has intervened in their lives, rescuing them from a lifestyle of drugs, alcohol, and self destruction. These employees do so much more than run these stores. They have the marvelous opportunity to share their faith with the customers & other volunteers.
The OETG is a court approved community service option. Individuals who have had run-ins with the law find themselves suddenly surrounded by people who love them unconditionally. They leave changed from the inside out, some even wishing their community service was yet incomplete! Others choose to spend their community service time at the OETG because of the testimony of others who have served before them. They feel the OETG is permeated with the peace of God. Many of these individuals marvel at the consistency & genuine faith demonstrated through the words & actions of the OETG employees. The OETG also has the privilege of working with special needs individuals through Expanding Life, LLC. 
Fallon Naz. stands in awe of the astounding avenue God has provided for reaching out to our community through the OETG. We embrace His perfect will for our lives and fully rely upon His indwelling presence to impact those around us.
